Recipe BookThe Kio-o Center is a unique and peaceful place located in the heart of a 125 acre estate in the beautiful Laurentian Mountains, about 100 km from Montreal, in Sainte-Lucie des Laurentides. In addition to the tranquility and natural beauty, the excellence of it’s meals is the central element of its reputation, the one that guests name first when they comment on their stay. On popular demand, the center decided to publish the first volume of their vegetarian recipe book.
The book is available for purchase online via the website or at Kio-o center itself. The proceeds from the sale go to the Help and shelter house L’Ombre-Elle in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.
I have to admit I’m not totally objective with this cookbook design project. I would even say that I am speaking for my parish. It’s just that, for the past few years, I have been one of the two chef cooks at the Kio-o center along with my friend Zahora, an outstanding cook with many years of experience at the Casino du Lac Leamy in Gatineau.
